This city was the first to be retaken by the Knights of Solamnia and was the first place the Flying Citadels were seen. Kalaman is a good city that dislikes any type of evil and restricts both kender and thieves.

Despite being a city for all levels, there are in fact some parts of Kalaman that are quite dangerous, but the rewards are very satisfying. Newbies are encouraged to stay on the surface of the Vingaard River.
Location (view)
Kalaman is situated on the estuary of the Vingaard River, which is deep enough for a port. Kalaman lies far to the east of Vingaard and Palanthas and far north of Neraka - beyond the towns of Jelek and Telvan.
